With recycling systems failing to keep pace and the volume of plastic waste expected to triple by 2060, we urgently need effective solutions.

Enter REUSE Foundation, a new charity dedicated to tackling the root of the plastic waste problem by shifting the focus from recycling to reuse solutions.

Why We Created REUSE Foundation

For years, efforts to combat plastic waste have been hindered by systemic issues—ineffective recycling systems, slow industry action, and limited consumer awareness. While recycling plays a role, it cannot address the scale of the crisis. We needed a fresh approach—one that promotes circular economy principles and prioritizes reuse as a sustainable alternative to throwaway culture.

REUSE Foundation was born out of this necessity. Our mission is to empower communities, businesses, and policymakers to embrace reuse systems that dramatically reduce our reliance on plastic and create a more sustainable future.
